IT’S BAAACCCK! Don’t miss Pipe Screams 2011!!  Sunday, October 30 at First United Methodist Church (1376 Olive Street, Eugene) at 4 p.m.  Friends and members of the American Guild of Organists Eugene Chapter perform whimsical, wacky, wild and wicked Halloween music on the Hochhalter pipe organ while wearing frightful and crazy costumes.  The Master of Ceremonies is the one-and-only George Evano from the Oregon Bach Festival.  The performers will play hair-raising renditions of some all-time favorite organ music, including Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in d.” A howling good time will be had by all. Bring your friends and family, particularly the young and young at heart, for this celebration of music for the haunting Halloween season. Costumes are encouraged.  A freewill offering will be collected to support "The Organ Loft" program on KWAX-FM (donations are tax deductible.) There is no charge for admission.
